Belinda’s background:
Over the past 14 years, Belinda has worked across 3 different continents providing support to children aged 0-12 experiencing speech, language, cognitive and feeding-related challenges. Over the past 8 years Belinda has focused her practice on providing support to children with additional needs and their families. Small play groups involving both parents and their children have also formed an integral part of Belinda’s practice.
Belinda is a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia as well as a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
Belinda has both a bachelor of arts degree in speech therapy and audiology from South Africa where she began her practice, as well as a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology from Vancouver, Canada where she has practiced since 1997.
Belinda is a member of the Hanen organization and is fully trained in the parent education programs of ’It takes two to talk’ ™ and ’More then words’ ™.
